Maharashtra Public Service Commission is the statutory body, created by the constitution of India to recruit aspiring candidates for the civil service jobs in the Maharashtra.  The selection of the candidates is done on the basis of rules of reservation and merits of the applicants.  The capital of Maharashtra- Mumbai is the head office of the MPSC.  MPSC is established under Article 315 of constitution of India. The aim of the body is provide a smooth and efficient functioning of the government of Maharashtra by hiring knowledgeable, aspiring and skilled candidates.

Age Criteria– The age of the candidate should be between 19-33 years as on 01-04-2016.  Age relaxation is also provided to the eligible candidates according to the laws.

Educational Eligibility– A candidate must have received graduation degree/bachelor degree, ICA, ICWA or must have received equivalent qualification from a recognized school or college.

Selection Process– The selection of the candidates would be done according to their performance in written examination and interview.

Salary- Rs- 15600-39100/ (A Group)

Rs. 9300-34800/ (B Group)

Application Fee- The application fee for unreserved candidates is Rs 523/ and for other reserved candidates, it is Rs 323.

Age Limit- The age of the candidates should lie between 18-33 years as on 01-04-2016.  Age relaxation is also provided to the eligible candidates according to the rules.

Educational Criteria- A candidate applying for the position must have done 4th pass or must have received equivalent education from a reputed school or college.

Salary- Rs. 4440-7440 with Grade pay 1300/
